Russians attack Zaporizhzhia. Residential houses and Khortytsia Island are under fire
According to Suspilne Zaporizhzhia, several explosions occurred in the city and its environs during an air raid. “Zaporizhzhia. A Russian missile has just struck an apartment block. Russia is attacking the city with savage cruelty. Residential areas, where ordinary people, including children, live, were struck. The terrorist state wants to destroy our cities, our country, and our people. This must not become “a daily routine” in Ukraine or anywhere else in the world. The world must become more united and decisive to defeat the Russian terror as soon as possible and protect people’s lives,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
One person, injured in the missile attack inflicted by Russian occupiers on a residential building in Zaporizhia on Wednesday, died at a hospital, Head of Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko informed. “We have just received confirmation that at the hospital, among those who were taken away from here [from the place of shelling], there is already one dead,” Malashko said. In turn, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Anatoliy Kurtiev, said that, at the moment, 25 people are already at hospitals.
