Russians destroyed the largest solar power plant in Kharkiv region

According to the solar power plant Managing Director Volodymyr Ronchakovskyy, as a result of the shelling of Kharkiv region by the Russian military on May 28, 2022, a solar power plant was destroyed.

The terrestrial solar power plant was launched in 2019, and it was built on the territory of the landfill on credit. At the time of construction, the company was the largest industrial solar power plant in Kharkiv region.

“Some panels and some transformers are partially left, but the station is mostly destroyed. A large amount of money will be spent on restoration,” Ronchakovskyy said.
