Russians mine wheat and barley fields of Mykolaiv

According to the Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, on June 21, 2022, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine withdrew 18 explosive objects in Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region. Most of the explosive ordnance was collected in wheat and barley fields.

“The owners of the land plots showed the sappers where the ammunition is. Pyrotechnicians qualified the finds, took them to a specially designated place, and destroyed them by controlled detonation,” he said.
