Russia’s capture of Zaporizhzhia NPP requires a particularly principled response from the world
On the anniversary of capturing the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant by Russian invaders, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for a particularly principled response from the international community. He mentioned it on Twitter.
He recalled that “a year ago, for the first time in human history, the Russian terrorist state ‘kidnapped’ the Zaporizhzhia NPP nuclear power facility. Russia bombarded the station, claiming that the nuclear power plant was bombarding our communities, effectively turning the Zaporizhzhia station’s land into a military training field.”
