Russia’s intention is to destroy the statehood and people of Ukraine
Ukrainian Institute and the Supervisory Board published an official comment on the article “What Russia should do with Ukraine?” by Timofey Sergeytsev. It was published on April 3, 2022, by the Russian state propaganda agency “RIA Novosti,” a part of the “Russia Today” media conglomerate (currently under EU sanctions). The text by political consultant Timofey Sergeytsev explains the content and components of the planned ‘denazification’ policy, one of the main demands of the Russian aggressor since the first days of the full-scale war.
Despite the author’s apparent marginality, his publication in a government propaganda publication suggests that the text should be considered as a policy document, ideological justification for the goals of the war against Ukraine, and an action plan after the occupiers’ desirable but unattainable victory.
