“Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine also has profound implications for the world and for Singapore,” stated Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong during his National Day Message.

Loong said that Russia’s invasion violated fundamental principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity under the United Nations Charter.

“This is particularly vital to Singapore, because these principles underpin our security, and even our existence,” stated the PM of Singapore.
