Russia’s overnight attack on Ukraine: 16 out of 36 missiles shot down

On the night of Feb. 16, 2023, Russia fired air- and sea-launched cruise missiles and guided anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles. In general, Russia used 36 missiles.

Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, stated that the Lviv region’s critical infrastructure was damaged in Russian strikes. There were no casualties.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 14 cruise missiles and two guided anti-aircraft missiles, reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
