School graduates from Chernihiv were photographed for the final album among the ruins

School graduates from Chernihiv, with the help of Ivano-Frankivsk photographer Stanislav Senyk, decided that in 2022 their graduation albums should be exactly like that — among the ruins left by Russian invaders in their city.

“When I photograph the graduation album, I imagine that it will be important in 10 years. Even its importance will be greater in years to come. Over time, in 5-6 years, these children will have their children. After a while, what is happening now will be forgotten. People who have not seen this will ask us what happened and how it was, as we asked our grandparents.

However, in the times of our grandparents, there were no photos or videos. If my grandmother showed me the album when, for example, there was the Holodomor, I would have perceived it differently,” said Stanislav Senyk about the idea of shooting a school album among the ruins.
