Scorpions supported Ukraine at the concert in Tel Aviv

At a concert in Tel Aviv, the Scorpions’ frontman Klaus Meine took the flag of Ukraine from a fan and walked around the stage with him.

During the concert, the band performed the song “Winds of Change” with changed lyrics. The song, written in 1990, was dedicated to the “perestroika” in the USSR and the end of the Cold War. After Russia started its full-scale war in Ukraine, the artists removed all references to “Moscow” and “Gorky Park” and added the line “Now listen to my heart, it says Ukraine.”
