Serbia will not recognize the results of pseudo-referendums on Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories

Serbia will not recognize pseudo-referendums in the Ukrainian territories occupied by the Russian Federation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković stated at a press conference on September 25, 2022.

He stated that such pseudo-referendums violate international law.

“That would be completely contrary to our national and state interests, the preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the inviolability of borders,” the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed.
