“Sham referenda and mobilization are signs of weakness, of Russian failure”

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink reacted to Russia’s partial military mobilization and intentions to hold referendums in Ukrainian temporarily occupied territories to join the Russian Federation, calling them signs of failure and weakness.

“The United States will never recognize Russia’s claim to purportedly annexed Ukrainian territory, and we will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes,” stated U.S. Ambassador on Twitter.
