Share Ukrainian Voices: An initiative that helps celebrities “speak” Ukrainian
Respeecher has launched the Share Ukrainian Voices initiative, which helps celebrities who support Ukraine record their speech in Ukrainian even if they don’t know the language. In order to do this, the program first analyzes a person’s voice, then the Respeecher team develops a copy of the voice and overlays it on a record in which the actor\actress reads the translation of the star’s speech.
“Respeecher’s AI technology allows stars to speak our language to our nation, even though they don’t speak Ukrainian yet. We thought, ‘Why not?’ If there is a chance to raise even more funds to support Ukraine, and once again remind the world of the realities of the war in Ukraine,” said Oleksandr Serdiuk, CEO and co-founder of Respeecher.
