Six people were killed in Russian shelling of Severodonetsk on May 20, 2022, the city is being destroyed like Mariupol

Russians killed six people in Severodonetsk, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhii Haidai said.

Russian troops fired on a school in Severodonetsk; in the school’s basement, the residents of new city districts had been hiding since the beginning of the war. Two people died on the spot, and three more were hospitalized. Two killed and one wounded are members of the same family.

About 50 houses were destroyed during the day.

“The Russian military is destroying Severodonetsk, like Mariupol: during the shelling, they hit a school where people were hiding. Fighting is taking place on the outskirts of the city. The Hirske community is bombed by aircraft every day,” Serhii Haidai added.
