Slovakia hands over all promised fighter jets to Ukraine

Slovakia has handed over all 13 MiG-29 fighter jets it had pledged to Ukraine, the Slovak Defense Ministry announced on Apr. 17, 2023. Slovakia joined Poland in promising the planes in March to aid Ukraine as it battles a full-scale Russian invasion.
