Some 92% of Ukrainians have negative attitude toward Russia — survey

The vast majority of Ukrainians (92%) have a negative attitude towards Russia, according to the results of a telephone poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

It is indicated that over the past three years before the full-scale invasion, there was a gradual decrease in positive attitudes towards Russia, but, even despite several months of escalation near the borders of Ukraine, 34% of the population of Ukraine in early February 2022 treated Russia well.

As of May 2022, this figure has dropped to 2%, while 92% of Ukrainians have a negative attitude towards the Russian Federation.
