South Korea is ready to participate in long-term projects to restore the Ukrainian energy sector

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Kim Hyung-tae, confirmed during the meeting with Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, German Galushchenko, the Korean side’s interest in participating in medium- and long-term projects to restore and rebuild the Ukrainian energy sector, the Ukrainian government reports.

The parties also discussed cooperation in the nuclear industry and renewable energy. Galushchenko thanked South Korea for eight humanitarian cargoes with energy equipment totaling about 105 tonnes that have already arrived in Ukraine.
