Sport is not out of politics. Robert Lewandowski played a match with yellow and blue arm bandage

The captain of the Poland national football team Robert Lewandowski has expressed his support for Ukraine. He played against the Swedes for a ticket to the World Cup in the yellow and blue armband.

“As an athlete, I can’t pretend nothing is happening #StandWithUkraine,” he also wrote on his Twitter page earlier.

The Poles have beaten the Swedes with a score of 2:0. So the winners are on their way to the World Cup in Qatar.
