Sports stars auction valuable items to support Ukraine

Sports media Tribuna.com together with the volunteer organization Ukraine Alive 2022 and the Belarusian Foundation for Sports Solidarity, announced a series of World Sports For Ukraine auctions on eBay. The lots include unique items donated by international and Ukrainian sports stars. The bidding has already begun and will last until April 6, 2022.
Andrii Yarmolenko, a West Ham forward and the captain of Ukraine’s national football team, auctioned off his real playing boots with Stop War written on them.
Serhii Rebrov, a former Ukrainian football player, to sell his jersey from his Premier League period with a Stop War inscription and his signature. This shirt is very precious to Rebrov’s family: Serhii wore it in the FA Cup Final with Tottenham. Symbolically, this game took place on February 24, 2002, the exact day of the war that Russia started in Ukraine, but 20 years earlier.
Stanislav Horuna is one of the world’s most famous karate fighters and is currently serving in the Ukrainian army. He auctions off his Bronze Tokyo Olympics medal.
Robert Lewandowski, the Bayern Munich and Polish national team superstar, also joined the initiative. He auctions off his jersey with Stop War written over it.
