“Stick up for the Ukrainians, stick up for freedom and democracy everywhere”

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave his final message at the Prime Minister’s Questions session in the UK Parliament. As Reuters reports, he bowed out of his final showpiece parliamentary appearance with a round of applause from his party, jeers from opponents, and an enigmatic exit line: “Mission largely accomplished … hasta la vista, baby.”

In his speech, Johnson mentioned Ukraine by saying to members of Parliament: “Stick up for the Ukrainians, stick up for freedom and democracy everywhere.”
