Sweden provides more than $1 billion for housing for Ukrainians

Sweden will set aside 9.8 billion Swedish crowns ($1.05 billion) in the spring budget for housing and other costs for Ukrainian refugees, the finance minister said on March 31, 2022. Sweden also plans to encourage Ukrainians to go to work, but there are no plans to increase social assistance payments.
