Sweden to support Ukraine on its path to EU

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated Sweden would continue to support Ukraine on its path to the EU, Ukrinform reports.

“We continue to support Ukraine’s merit-based accession process and assist in reform efforts that will pave the way for Ukraine to start the EU accession talks,” he noted. The Prime Minister of Sweden called the decision to grant Ukraine the status of an EU candidate a historic one.
