Sweden to transfer eight Archer artillery systems to Ukraine

The Swedish government has approved the sending of eight Archer self-propelled guns to Ukraine. “They will give the Ukrainians a chance to disable Russian artillery systems,” Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson told Dagens Nyheter newspaper.
According to additional budget amendments submitted to the Parliament of Sweden, the government is also asking for ten Leopard-2 tanks for transfer to Ukraine. In total, the package will include eight artillery pieces and ten tanks worth more than $570 million.
