Switzerland to increase support for Ukraine to more than $100 million

As part of the bilateral cooperation with Ukraine, Switzerland will double its funding to more than 100 million Swiss francs (over 100 million U.S. dollars) by the end of 2023. President of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis stated this at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Lugano on July 5, 2022.
The President of Switzerland noted that his country provides financing through Ukraine’s multilateral partners — the UN, OSCE, Red Cross, World Bank, EBRD, and others.
Cassis also announced the allocation of at least 15 million Swiss francs for digital transformation following an appeal by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
As reported, the international Ukraine Recovery Conference is held in the Swiss city of Lugano on July 4-5, 2022, with the participation of Ukrainian and international politicians, leaders of the EU and international organizations, international financial bodies, etc.
