Switzerland to send to Ukraine fire-fighting and rubble removal equipment worth over $5 million

Switzerland is making a new delivery of material to Ukraine, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs reports.

At the request of the Ukrainian authorities, it will provide equipment to fight fires, clean contaminated water, and remove debris and rubble. The Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) and the city of Basel donated the equipment, worth CHF 5.2 million in total ($5 million).
