Tennis stars took part in a charity event in support of Ukraine in Australia

A charity tennis evening in support of Ukraine was held in Melbourne, Australia, where the Australian Open Grand Slam tournament will start on Jan. 16, 2023.

The charity event was attended by such tennis stars as Rafael Nadal, Alex de Minaur, Andy Murray, Coco Hauff, Francis Tiafoe, Maria Sakkari, Grigor Dimitrov, and Alexander Zverev.

Ukraine was represented by Marta Kostyuk, Diana Yastremska, and Oleksii Krutych. In one of the matches, Marta Kostyuk played in a pair with the famous Rafael Nadal.

The funds raised will be transferred to support Ukraine through the Australian branch of UNICEF and the Global Giving platform.
