The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed almost 400 targets using HIMARS missiles

General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, expressed high regard for the Ukrainian military’s preparedness and claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed more than 400 key targets using HIMARS missiles. According to Ukrinform’s correspondent, he mentioned this on Thursday, September 8, 2022, following the findings of the fifth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in Ramstein.

“The way Ukraine employs these (supplied by the West — ed.) weaponry systems provides us with genuine and practical benefits. Ukraine, for example, destroyed around 400 targets with HIMARS missiles, which had a devastating effect,” the American commander highlighted.
