The bodies of 522 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine

Ukraine returned the bodies of 522 fallen defenders since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine’s Commissioner on Persons Gone Missing under Special Circumstances Oleh Kotenko reported on August 12, 2022.

The bodies of fallen Ukrainian defenders were taken from different directions in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions.

“Ukraine is doing everything possible to return the bodies of all its fallen soldiers,” stated Kotenko.
