The death toll in Mariupol has reached tens of thousands

Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine: “In two months since the start of full-scale war, the number of deaths in Mariupol alone has reached tens of thousands. No one has inflicted as much pain on the people of Donbas as the Russian Federation has since 2014 and especially today.”
Earlier, Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko said the Russians had killed more locals in the city than the Nazis did in World War II. According to him, more than twenty thousand people had been killed by the Russians in 2 months.
