The Director of a museum in Chernihiv lives there 24/7 under shellings to protect the exhibits

Serhii Laevsky is the director of the Tarnovsky Regional Historical Museum. It is located in Chernihiv, a city in northern Ukraine that has been attacked by Russian troops since the beginning of the war.
He learned about the war at 5 am on the first day of the war. Serhii went to the museum and has lived there since then. He is selecting the most valuable exhibits and hiding them as far as possible, protecting them from the destruction by the Russian rocket attacks. Together with some people from the museum staff, he strengthens the building and constantly eliminates the consequences of shelling.
There is no gas, no heat, no water in the museum. The electricity appears and disappears randomly. He lives in the museum with his wife and niece, who gave birth to a girl after the start of the war.
