The eighth meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense has begun at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
The meeting is attended by defense ministers from nearly 50 countries, including Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov. The meeting at Ramstein began with an address by Volodymyr Zelensky. He asked the allies to speed up the transfer of weapons, and at the end of his speech, he called for long-range missiles and F-16 fighters to be provided to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the media reported that the Dutch Foreign Minister announced that he was considering the possibility of transferring F-16s. To be more precise, Wopke Hoekstra told NL Times that the Netherlands would consider this issue if Kyiv asked for it.
