Despite the electricity went off at the Heart Institute in Kyiv during the youngster’s heart surgery process, Ukrainian doctors continued to perform the surgery even amid Russian missile attacks on Nov. 23. Borys Todurov, the Head of the Heart Institute, posted a video on his Instagram page.

“Russians, rejoice. Today, the youngster is on the operating table, and the light was entirely turned off during the surgery. Excellent work. People who are extremely compassionate,” — Todurov stated in the video.
