The EU fully supports the work of the IAEA mission at the Zaporizhzhia NPP

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi.

“The EU fully supports the work and efforts of the IAEA. Their courage and professionalism in carrying out the first mission at the ZNPP are impressive,” Michel wrote on Twitter.

“Russia has put the world at risk. Ensuring nuclear safety is a key: continued IAEA presence at the station is necessary,” he added.
