The EU refused to hear warnings about the Russian threat

Russia’s war against Ukraine has revealed the truth about Europe, stated Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in his article for “Le Monde”.

“Europe found itself in its current situation not because it was insufficiently integrated, but because it refused to listen to the voice of truth,” he added.

Polish PM also critisized Germany concerning its policy towards Russia.

“If all of Europe had followed Germany’s vote, not only Nord Stream 1 but also Nord Stream 2, Europe’s dependence on Russian gas, which Putin is using as a blackmail tool against the entire continent, would have been almost irreversible,” Morawiecki noted.
