The first Latvian edition of “History of Ukraine” was presented in Riga

The Riga Academic Library hosted the presentation of “Ukrainas vesture / History of Ukraine,” the first book in Latvian about Ukrainian history from ancient times to the present day, including the repulsion of Russian aggression, published by Jumava publishing house. Yuris Vysotskis, the publishing house’s head, stated that the idea to publish “Ukrainas vesture” arose immediately after Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, arguing that “there is no such (Ukrainian, – ed.) nation, no such history.”
