Anna Episheva, a graduate of the Kharkiv school destroyed by the Russian troops:
“… I am 16 years old … I studied at school 134 in Kharkiv … there were a lot of friends from school, we were like one big family … With the girls, we chose dresses and were glad that everyone would be very beautiful on graduation day. But the “Russian world” came to us and ruined all our plans, which we dreamed of! ” she wrote on Facebook.
“My niece was supposed to graduate this year from her high school. She and her friends planned the graduation event, bought dresses, and we were looking forward to the big day… then the Russians came. Her school was directly hit and destroyed on February 27, 2022. Today, she came back to what has left of her school and her graduation plans. Thank you, my dear Valerie, for being strong and brave, I’m so proud of you and love you so much.”
