The Heroic Mariupol Square opened up close to the Russian Consulate in Gdansk

In the Polish city of Gdansk, a square bearing the name Heroic Mariupol was established. “Mariupol and Gdansk are connected both in strategic partnership and friendship. This is a lovely city, which was the object of vicious and merciless aggression from the start of the Russian aggressor war,” Alexandra Dulkevych, the city mayor, stated.
The square in the Wrzeszcz neighborhood at the crossing of Partizaniv and Mother of Poland streets would henceforth be known as “Plaza of Heroic Mariupol,” she claimed. In such a way, the city wants to honor the defenders of Mariupol.
