The Netherlands sends 11 sapper dogs to assist in demining efforts in Ukraine

The police of the Kyiv region received 11 sapper dogs that were trained in the Netherlands to detect explosives: nine Belgian Malinois and two German Shepherds.

The dogs were handed over by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation. After additional training, the dogs will be involved in special operations in the Kyiv region, as well as in the front-line territories to assist in demining, detection of illegal movement, and storage of explosives, weapons, and ammunition.
