The Netherlands to provide another €120 million assistance package to Ukraine, including tanks

The Netherlands is providing an assistance package worth €120 million to Ukraine. According to the statement on the Dutch Ministry of Defense website, together with the United States and the Czech Republic, the Netherlands will provide 90 modernized and reconditioned Czech tanks.

The first batch of tanks is expected to be delivered to Ukraine as early as December 2022.

According to the Dutch Minister of Defense, Kajsa Ollongren, this comprehensive package is an important signal to Russia. Allies continue to pull together to support the Ukrainian armed forces in their fight against Russia’s war of aggression.
