The Nezlamni center in Lviv will get $1 million from the American humanitarian organization

On December 11, 2022, the First Medical Association of Lviv and the American nonprofit Direct Relief signed a cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, partners from the USA will donate $1 million to the Nezlamni national rehabilitation center, the Lviv City Council press office reports.

“I am inspired by the hospital’s and your work, as well as the tenacity of all Ukrainians. You face a variety of difficulties that go beyond the battlefield, such as those experienced by shelling-affected medical professionals and combat-injured individuals. We are aware that many of these wounds will be permanent. Because of this, we support UNBROKEN. We are thrilled to be a part of this endeavor, and Ukraine inspires me greatly,” President and CEO of Direct Relief, Thomas Tighe, remarked.
