“The only thing we need is for Russia to stop attacking us”. Film director Emile Ghessen visited the underground children’s hospital in Kyiv
Emile Ghessen is a British conflict documentary journalist and reporter, who used to be a Royal Marines Commando. He visited a children’s hospital in Kyiv, which is forced to be underground due to Russia’s permanent attacks on Kyiv.
“Hundreds of children and their mothers are trapped, too sick or vulnerable to escape the city. Medical staff work around the clock providing them with care”, said Emile Ghessen in his post on LinkedIn.
According to Emile Ghessen, when he asked the hospital director what did he need, his answer was powerful as he replied: “The only thing we need is for Russia to stop attacking us.”
