The Russian missile attack led to a temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal and hydroelectric plants
The missile attack on Nov. 23 caused a temporary blackout in all nuclear power reactors across Ukraine, as well as in a majority of the country’s thermal and hydroelectric power units. Power transmission lines have also been impacted, said Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy.
It should be emphasized that the vast majority of energy consumers in the country were shut off as a result of Russian onslaught.
