The Russians harmed Ukrainian nature in UAH204 billion
The amount of environmental damage caused by the Russian Federation’s armed aggression in Ukraine is estimated to be around 204 billion hryvnias (about $5 billion), as the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine reported.
“The team has created ten new methods for calculating environmental damage. Already, the cost of Russian aggression has reached 204 billion hryvnias. These developments have global implications. Today, Russia is the primary eco-terrorist.”
The report specifies that experts will continue documenting Russian crimes against Ukrainian nature. More than 2,000 such incidents have been recorded since the start of the full-scale invasion.
