The shelling damaged Kharkiv’s largest library — Kharkiv Scientific Library named after Korolenko.
It is the second-largest book fund in Ukraine. The windows, the main building, and the grand piano, played by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, were smashed in the building. Book funds are not damaged.
