The traffic of 218 vessels participating in the Black Sea Grain Initiative is actually blocked

The movement of 218 ships involved in the “grain initiative” is currently blocked. The press office of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine claimed this on Facebook:

“Due to the fact that the Ukrainian side, as of October 30, 2022, does not have permits from the Joint Coordination Center to pass through the safe corridor and conduct inspections, 218 vessels are actually blocked at their current positions.
In particular:

• 95 loaded cargo ships that have already left Ukrainian ports and are awaiting inspection for shipment to the final consumer,
• 101 ships awaiting the inspection for entry to Ukrainian ports,
• 22 loaded ships are waiting to leave Ukrainian ports.”
