The UK promised to provide 6,000 missiles and about $33 million to Ukraine in new support

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the UK would send 6,000 anti-tank and high-explosive missiles, as well as £25 million ($33 million) in financial assistance to the Ukrainian army to help it fight Russian forces. This more than doubled the defensive lethal aid provided to more than 10,000 missiles and came on top of the £400 million the UK had committed in humanitarian and economic aid for the crisis. The new £25 million funding is aimed to help to pay the salaries of Ukrainian soldiers, pilots, and police and ensure the armed forces are well equipped with high-quality equipment.
