The US will allocate $55 million to help Ukraine prepare for winter
The United States will allocate $55 million in emergency assistance to help Ukraine prepare for winter, stated USAID Administrator Samantha Power during her visit to Ukraine on October 6, 2022.
It will support repairs and maintenance of pipes and other equipment necessary to deliver heating to homes, hospitals, schools, and businesses across Ukraine.
The assistance will directly benefit up to 7 million Ukrainians in 19 regions.
