The US will send $800 million in additional military assistance to Ukraine

On March 16, President Biden said that the United States would send $800 million in additional military assistance to help Ukraine defend their country against Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion.

The new $800 million package includes 800 anti-aircraft systems, 9,000 anti-tank systems, 7,000 small arms, 20 million shells, unmanned aerial systems, and much more.

This brings the total US security assistance provided to Ukraine over the past week to $1 billion.
