The work of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is completely stopped

The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is fully stopped as a safety measure, reported the state company Energoatom on September 11, 2022.
“Power unit No. 6 of the ZNPP was disconnected from the power grid. Preparations are underway for its cooling and transfer to a cold state,” stated the company.
Recently, this power unit has been in an island mode operation, feeding only its own needs of the ZNPP at a critically low power level due to the damage of all communication lines of the Zaporizhzhia NPP with the energy system of Ukraine by Russian shelling.
