The World Bank to provide $100 million to finance scholarships for Ukrainian students

The World Bank decided on emergency assistance for Ukraine to finance scholarships for students getting their higher education in the academic year 2021-2022. Nearly $100 million is to be provided to reimburse the government’s budget program for higher education. These funds will cover academic scholarships for 172,000 students and social scholarships for 50,000 students.
