The world premiere of “Pamphir” directed by Dmytro Sykholytkyy-Sobchuk took place at Cannes Film Festival

On May 21, 2022, in Cannes’s Théâtre Croisette, a full-length feature debut of Ukrainian director and screenwriter Dmytro Sukholitkyy-Sobchuk “Pamfir” took place in one of the most prestigious competition programs of Cannes Film Festival “Directors’ Fortnight.”

The film was created with the support of the State Cinema and is vying for the Caméra d’Or (Golden Camera) Award — the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Debut Feature Film.

“Pamfir” is a co-production of four countries: Ukraine (Bosonfilm), France (Les Films d’Ici), Poland (Madants) and Chile (Quijote). The 2019 project became one of the Eleventh State Cinema Competition winners in the section of co-produced feature films.
